Paquito Navarro and Martín Di Nenno will reform their partnership on the Premier Padel circuit, according to reports first broken by @padelcerveza on X on April 25, 2026, and confirmed the same day by Marca. The news was subsequently replicated by AnalistasPadel, Padel Magazine, Padel Tonic, PadelSpain, and Actu Padel. As of May 1, no official statement has been issued by either player or by Premier Padel. Their debut as a pair is scheduled for the Italy Major in Rome, which begins on June 1, 2026.

When the New Pair Starts

The pair will not compete together before the Italy Major Rome (Premier Padel), starting June 1, 2026. Both players are honoring existing commitments in the tournaments preceding that date.

Navarro continues alongside Fran Guerrero at the Asunción P2 and Buenos Aires P1. Di Nenno continues with Momo González at those same events. The transition to the new partnership takes effect from Rome.

A Partnership with History

Navarro and Di Nenno first joined forces in 2021 and played together until October 2022 — a stint of approximately one year and ten months. During that period they accumulated six titles: five on the World Padel Tour and the Qatar Major 2022, which was the first Major in the history of Premier Padel. Their best ranking as a pair was World No. 2.

Their final tournament together was the Adeslas Santander Cantabria Open in October 2022, where they won the final against Belasteguín and Coello with a score of 6-2, 6-0. Their coach throughout the first stint was Rodri Ovide.

Why They Split in 2022

The separation was Di Nenno’s decision, prompted by an inconsistent season and what he described as human burnout. In his own words at the time: “Sometimes on Mondays I didn’t want to see Paco, and he didn’t want to see me either, but we still had to train.” He also stated: “I stopped feeling as comfortable as before.”

The pair ended their first run on a competitive high — the Santander title was one of their best results — but the accumulated fatigue over an intensive cycle was the determining factor in Di Nenno’s choice to separate.

How They Arrive at the Reunion

Both players are currently ranked inside the FIP top 15, with Navarro at No. 8 and Di Nenno at No. 13 as of April 27, 2026.

Martín Di NennoNo. 134,990

Navarro, who is 37 years old, has remained a consistent presence in the top ten of the circuit. Di Nenno has worked to rebuild his ranking since the split.

The partnership change also triggers movement elsewhere on the men’s draw. According to reports, Fran Guerrero is in discussions to return to a pairing with Javi Leal, while Momo González is reportedly in talks with Lucas Campagnolo. Neither of those pairings has been officially confirmed as of the publication of this article.
