FIP Bronze Rivesaltes: In Progress

The FIP Bronze Rivesaltes is being played at the ViaPadel Rivesaltes facility in France from April 8 to 12. Qualifying rounds began on Tuesday, April 8.

The draw features a strong contingent of French players, consistent with the continued growth of padel in the French market. Final results from the main draw are not yet available at the time of publication and will be covered in a follow-up report.

Circuit Context: Qatar Major Cancellation and Its Impact on the FIP Tour

The week was also shaped by the cancellation of the Qatar Major on the Premier Padel circuit, which had been scheduled to take place in Doha. The decision was attributed to geopolitical instability in the Middle East, disrupting the Premier Padel calendar at this stage of the season.

In response to the gap in the schedule, a number of players who typically compete on the Premier Padel circuit chose to enter CUPRA FIP Tour events during this period. Their participation contributed to a higher overall competitive level at tournaments such as the FIP Gold Almaty and the FIP Silver Ivory Coast I.

What’s Next on the FIP Tour

The week of April 8–12 continues with the main draw of the FIP Bronze Rivesaltes in France, the year’s first Bronze-level event to reach the final stages.

The broader CUPRA FIP Tour 2026 calendar extends into the coming weeks, with additional dates to be confirmed as the circuit continues its geographic expansion across Central Asia, West Africa, and Europe.
